Published Privately by the author, 2021, Softback, New.  This is one of a limited edition of only 100 copies, numbered and signed by the author.   A well illustrated and long overdue biography of the “Father of British Rock-Climbing”.  Haskett Smith is probably most famous for his first ascent, solo, in 1886 of Napes Needle.  He was also the author of the first climbing guidebooks to be published – Climbing in the British Isles I – England, published in 1894, and (with H.C. Hart) Climbing in the British Isles II – Wales and Ireland, published in 1895.
