Fine.   The authors both have over 40 years experience of walking and climbing in the Lake District, with this volume being the result of 4 years of a carefully planned programme of ascents and climbs.  It is not intended to be a detailed guidebook, as many already existed, but a topographical analysis of the Lakeland mountains and crags from the point of view of the climber of average competence.  It covers climbs from Difficult to Hard Very Severe and is a personal selection of those that the authors have most enjoyed.
