Published by Hodder & Stoughton, 1990, 1st UK Edition, D/w, Fine.   Including winter ascents of the North Faces of the Aiguille de Plan and the Eiger, but principally covering successful expeditions to Chogolisa in the Karakorum and Menlungtse in the Himalaya. On the former, Fanshawe led the team to complete the first traverse of the twin summits of the mountain, and on the latter summited on Menlungtse West with Alan Hinkes on the Bonington led expedition. Fanshawe was a former National Officer of the BMC and died in 1992, falling from Eagle Ridge on Lochnagar in the Cairngorms.
