Fine.   Victor Saunders is a British mountaineer, author and mountain guide.  He has summited Everest 6 times and climbed the Seven Summits.  This, his first book, won the Boardman Tasker Prize for Mountain Literature in 1991 and details expeditions to Uzum Brakk (1980), Bojohaghur (1984), Rimo (1985) and Spantik (1987).  He also wrote No Place to Fall: Superalpinism (2017), Structured Chaos: The Unusual Life of a Climber (2021) and, with Mick Fowler, Himalaya: The Tribulations of Mick & Vic (2015).  He was President of the Alpine Club (2020-2022).
