Published by Universidad Catolica de Chile, 1992, 1st Edition (2nd Printing), Softback, well illustrated, Nr.Fine.  The official account of the Chile Everest Kangshung Expedition 1992 (written in Spanish and English throughout the book), where the team succeeded in the third ascent of the Kangshung Face, the first being by the Anglo-American 1988 Expedition led by Stephen Venables, and in so doing, put the first South Americans on the summit of Everest.  The author, Rodrigo Jordan Fuchs, was the leader of the expedition and has subsequently gone on to lead a further five expeditions to the mountain, summiting a further two times, also climbing K2 and Lhotse, as well as Kilimanjaro and a traverse of the Ellsworth Mountains in Antarctica, amongst other adventures.
