Fine.     Ed Viesturs is America’s best known high-altitude mountaineer and this is his, largely photographic, account of his 18 year journey to climb all 14 of the world’s 8,000 metre peaks without supplemental oxygen.  He completed them in 2005 at the age of 45 and, in so doing, became the first American to achieve the feat.  High quality photographs by Viesturs.  When first published in 2003, Viesturs had climbed 12 of the 14 peaks.
