Published by Cassell, London, 1972, 1st UK Edition, D/w, Fine.   Autobiography of leading Scottish climber, probably best known for being the first Briton, along with Doug Scott, to summit Everest in 1975.  He was also, with Don Whillans, the first to climb the South Face of Annapurna in 1970 and was a prominent member of the team that completed the first ascent of the Direct Route on the North Face of the Eiger in 1966 (also known as the Harlin Direct, after John Harlin who fell to his death on the route).  Haston was killed in an avalanche above his home in Leysin in 1977.
