Published by Diadem Books, 1982 (reprint of the 1979 1st Edition in this format), slight stain rear endpaper, D/w, Nr. Fine. Both of these volumes are classics of mountaineering literature. Murray (1913-1996) was one of the leading lights of Scottish rock and winter climbing in the 1930s, creating many new hard routes. He also wrote further climbing books, novels and books on the Scottish Highlands.
