Published by Lochar Publishing, Scotland, 1991, 1st UK Edition, D/w (slight creasing top of spine), Nr. Fine. Hugh Symonds had a plan to climb all the 3,000 foot mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 100 days, whilst also running between them all, using no mechanised transport of any sort. This alone would have been incredibly demanding and challenging. However, he completed the task on Snowdon in just 83 days, so decided to run on and catch a ferry to Ireland, run across Ireland to the south-west and include the 7 mountains in Ireland over 3,000 feet, finally finishing in 97 days, still well under his original target. He covered over 2,000 miles and clocked up over 500,000 feet of climbing.
