Fine.   Samuel Turner (1869-1929) was a British mountaineer who provides a detailed account of his travels and explorations in Siberia, a vast and remote region of Russia known for its extreme climate and rugged terrain.  This includes detailed descriptions of his climbing expeditions in the Altai Mountains.  He later settled in New Zealand in 1911 and over the subsequent 18 years climbed, explored and achieved a number of notable first ascents.  He was, however, a controversial figure who was given to some exaggeration in his publications, which also include My Climbing Adventures in Four Continents (1911) and The Conquest of the New Zealand Alps (1922).
