Ernest Arthur Gardner (1878-1972) was an English photographer, writer and art historian. Though much of his photography related to his specialism in medieval sculpture and architecture, where his works have become standard academic textbooks, he also published several well illustrated works on the mountains, including The Peaks, Lochs and Coasts of the Western Highlands (1924) and Sun, Cloud and Snow in the Western Highlands (1933).
