Ken Wilson (1941-2016) pulled together this classic modern anthology of mountaineering writing, with contributions culled from magazines and journals mainly from the previous twenty years and a significant number from American writings. Some classic earlier authors are also included, such as Frank Smythe, Menlove Edwards and Colin Kirkus.
