Description
Published by A H & A W Reed, N.Z., 1983, 1st Edition, D/w, Fine. Following decades of Tibet’s peaks being closed to outsiders, in 1981 the New Zealand Molamenqing Expedition was permitted to attempt the world’s third highest unclimbed peak at that time. The expedition was successful but at a high cost to Anderson as he had eight of his toes amputated.
