Published by Maverick House, Ireland, 2008, 2nd Edition Ireland (1st Edition 2008 by Blacksmith Books in Hong Kong), D/w, Fine.   Autobiography of the ‘Human Spider’ or the ‘Real Spiderman’, Alain Robert has scaled over seventy skyscrapers, many without permission, including the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, the Sears Tower in Chicago, Canary Wharf in London, Taipei 101 in Taiwan, the Jim Mao Tower in Shanghai and the New York Times building, all free solo.  Despite having to overcome vertigo, he became a very good performer on rock (up to F8a) and, despite numerous injuries over the years, continues to climb buildings (October 2020: the Silberturm – Silver Tower – in Frankfurt).
