Published by Granada Publishing / Hart-Davis MacGibbon, 1978, 1st Edition 1st Printing, D/w (some fading to spine), Fine.   Ken Wilson (1941-2016) produced this compilation of some of the best lower grades routes in the UK as a follow-up to his Hard Rock volume published in 1974.  With the majority of its 82 routes over 55 chapters climbed in the first half of the 20th century, it is a showcase of British climbing in its exploratory heyday.  Copiously illustrated in black-and-white and occasional colour, the successful format of Hard Rock is again followed, providing an absorbing coffee table volume and, for those so inclined, an excellent tick list!
